The first decision you have to make is whether you want people or software. |
|
|

If you have an on-going requirement month in and month out, or you have many, many
small developments that don’t constitute a whole project. And if you want
to train your own people and to own all the source and IPRs, then the most cost
effective way is to hire people. You hire them as a team with a fixed monthly running
cost and an fixed cost per head to increase the head count. This is usually implemented
via an annual contract with 90 days on either side. Sample contracts are available
on request.

If you have a number of discrete developments or you want to execute ad-hoc customer
projects, which you have to date had to turn away, then a project by project agreement
with us will be the most sensible way forward. And it’s development rather
than people that you want. In this case, we have to decide on the size of the team,
the time lines and then we can work out the cost. |

The only question that then remains is how we should handle the project management
between the two countries. It could be that you have in-house resources for this.
